Jill is a business executive with more than 25 years in consumer goods, both domestic and international. She was a long-term player at local Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, holding various brand marketing, strategy and executive leadership roles. Upon acquisition of Dreyer’s by a multinational, Jill assumed a global position in Switzerland for 5 years. She has traveled extensively, including to Africa, for business, culture and adventure, and plans to do more. Jill is recently semi-retired and living in Sausalito, CA, where she is an active sailor and outdoor enthusiast. She is currently working with organizations that engage her passion for the outdoors, the environment and wildlife conservation. She has enthusiastically joined on with Project Thorn because of her love for the wildlife for Africa, the credibility of the project’s origins, and because she knows the project can make a difference.

Jill has her MBA from UC Berkeley, and a BA in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara.
